This sacred hymn of praise is scored for a full symphonic orchestra. It opens with a very rhythmic and syncopated motive that drives the piece forward through key changes and recurs often to keep the piece united. There hymn is set through different moods with contrasting, orchestral textures that are reminiscent of Russian national composers such as Tchaikovsky and Mussorgsky.
